This looks like Hydrellia griseola to me.

In the key to British Ephydridae, it reads: 'only about four shorter hairs on arista' -> H. griseola.
I am not entirely sure what that means...

Martin's characters are a bit variable - I've found that the colour of the notopleuron is more reliable, but generally it's best to check using genitalia to be sure. If you don't take specimens, then most of your Hydrellia photos will have to be labelled "probably ..."
