D. varipalpis looks different to me. vide Irina Brake's website http://milichiidae.info/sites/milichiidae.info/files/DesmometopavaripalpisMla.jpg the palps are yellowish with a black apex. maybe Irina Brake will post an opinion. John and Nini. Naturalists not experts. |

It looks like a female Desmometopa varipalpis. Only the male has the enlarged palpus. |
