Hello! I found this distinctive fly early morning sitting on a leaf of quince-tree in my garden, Hungary. I have seen resembling species from genus Chrysopilus in the gallery. Is it identifiable more closely from these photos? Thank you in advance. hi, I think there are two orange species it could be and that one is commoner than the other but I can't help further. Perhaps you have identified it elsewhere by now? Jeremy |

C. luteolus is the other orange one to consider, but I think it is slightly darker and that yours is indeed laetus a nice fly to find in your garden Jeremy |
