Hi, is this Chloromyia formosa? Observed in early June in Vienna. Yes I think so. Eyes hairy, so it is Chloromyia. From the two possible species I vote for C. formosa - the other, C. speciosa, should have pale middle and hind tarsi, and darker wing veins. |
