Hi, These small black Ephydrids have been frequently seen in the last weeks, sitting on the house walls. I found the description of Athyroglossa by Becker 1896, which fits well concerning the colouration of the tarsi, and arrived at A. glabra because of: - thorax with many small hairs that are not in rows, - scutellum flat, coarsely punctured, - arista with four bristles.
