Thanks you Theo ! Unfortunately, I haven't keep this specimen on the original pictures it's a bit blur, but there is at least no long hairs, I'm not sure if there is some short one but I would say the eyes seems to be bare |

It is an Allophorocera ferruginea, but indeed an unusual grey specimen. I know there is quite some variation, but this is extreme. Someven your common Tachinidae are special ! Theo |

Thanks you, Theo I have found him just beside a piece of rotten Coniferous wood so maybe there was Tipulidae larva in it |
