Grassland setting with rich vegetation diversity 20m from small stream.
A common species in this area. On the 12th Aug they were on and around Cirsium vulgare blossoms and stems just beneath the blossoms. Seen mating on 13th Aug. None were on the Tanacetum vulgare on 12th and 13th. However, 2 days earlier on the 10th, a lovely sunny day, they were very busy nectaring on T. vulgare and not to be seen on C. vulgare.
size: 6-8mm.
12th Aug 2021.

There were also several of these spiders on the prowl and some were successful!
