Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Drosophilidae?

From pitfall trap on shingle/saltmarsh, Rye Harbour UK, 15/6/16. Can anyone confirm or deny drosophilidae for this one? Beyond that, I got to Drosophila but with little confidence. Thanks

Lordiphosa, presumably andalusiaca.

I found a key illustrating the ovipositor of andalusiaca and its a match (as if I could ever doubt you!). Thanks again Paul.

If it were only always this simple... I have got a male Scaptodrosophila in the office that seems to be unwilling to be ID-ed. Imagine needing to dissect male genitalia of a drosophilid for ID. :S
