Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Syrphidae pupa?

Hi,
Yesterday I saw this puparium on a sunny brick wall. It should contain a Syrphid, but can a subfamily or a tribe be recognized?

Only subfamily Syrphinae is normally found in the open as larvae or pupae.

Yes it's hoverfly's pupa. Size? For example:
Paragus has spiked larvae, but also
Dasysyrphus (the latter appears more likely to me, considering larva's colours).

Length is about 4 mm. Though several
Paragus species are said to occur in the region, I saw
Dasysyrphus much more often.
