Hello,

A Tephritidae found in North of France, Mametz, the 15 may 2016, in low Vegetation
Maybe a female Tephritis conura ?

Yes, this is T. conura. Is it sitting on Cirsium sp.?

It was not sitting on a Cirsium but there were some not far
