Is it possible to tell which spieces this bicolored Minettia with body 3 mm are?
Photos from 5 July 2015 Icktjärn 62 N, E 17 Ångermanland, Sweden.

Thanks for your help in advance

I figured out this year that M. loewi is assoziated with Alnus and Fraxinus dominated swamp forests in my region. In May the species is easy to find on stands of Cardamine amara, later on other flowers as well. All sites were characteristic for the sciomyzids Antichaeta atriseta and A. obliviosa which I was originally hunting for.
Unfortunately I collected no additional material and specimens in alcohol are for GBOL project. But now you might look out for it on the right place next saison yourself.

Thans Ruud and Piet for comments.
I have found thin at 3 different places. In all cases Close to very small (max 1 meter) running vater with alnus.
If I ever start to collect speciemen I will remember....

And, I think also on Paul's behalf. In case you have 2 couples, send them to me. You have only once shipment costs. I will take care that Paul will receive a male and female as well.
