Hi all,
I'm trying to ID the attached fly - maybe bibio sp - this is on the high bog tops in the south Pennines and it seems to be the most frequent fly on Ledum palustre ssp groenlandicum - Labrador Tea as it has been observed pollinating in two separate years on this rare bush. Grateful for any help, cheers, Ken.
edit - I cant seem to post a pic even at reduced size - why is life so difficult...............apologies all, I give-up.

look at the rules for usiing names: NO_SPACES in filename, for instance.

OK, apologies, it was late and frustrating and file too large and with capital letter...................try again, Dolichopus sp? cheers, Ken

So change the title to 'Dolichopodidae", wait for help and don't make it too late !
