Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Bombyliidae ¿Lyophlaeba?

I would appreciate your help.
This Bombyliidae has been identified as Lyophaebra lugubris, but can't find anything of that genus or species.

Is the identification correct?

This specimen was seen in the north of Chile.

I think you mean Comptosia (Lyophlaeba) lugubris (Rondani, 1863). Original description can be found at archive.org (Diptera exotica revisa et annotata. Novis non nullis descriptis - Archivio per la zoologia, l'anatomia e la fisiologia, 3(1): p. 55)

Could this be a fly Aphoebantus? that wing coincides with the genre?
