Hello,
I had found this Dolichopodidae in my garden in Stuttgart (Southwest Germany). Size 2,5mm. Date: 27.10.2014
Genus Medetera?

Great pictures! Medetera is correct. For reliable species identification the examination of male genitalia is usually necessary.
