Hi, Chris Raper may like to comment further, but I thought I would mention that E cristata is found regularly in the SE of the UK, though certainly not common.
Its interesting how the fauna of UK and NL differ despite their proximity. Another tachinid example is Nowickia ferox which is common here yet extinct in NL.
