You're right, i didn't notice that on those picture hairs seems really hairy! But under binocular i'm absolutely not able to see any hair. The specimen suffered a bit from killing and traveling, so maybe hairs are sticks on eyes and i can't see them?
Anyway, between those 2 species, callus is different, so can we be sure of the specie with this picture?
Looking at the callus, i'd go on rusticus.
