I photographed this specimen in upland Tasmania.
If so, is it possible to get the genus, and if not which family might it be ?
Thanks in advance for help !

I find a similar fly online called Incurviseta. I found it by a web search for Lauxaniidae Tasmania.

Incurviseta adults are, it seems, the only lauxaniids in Tasmania often found feeding at flowers. This one is most likely from descriptions to be Incurviseta maculifrons. However the genus hasn't been reviewed since 1927. This is available here : http://www.biodiv...6/mode/1up
