Found today in willow forest, River Rhine area, Netherlands. Relative small fly, male. Platypezidae?

I have to think of Bolopus furcatus, a Platypezidae, but I cannot check now.

Bolopus could be right, but I'm inclined to think this is Seri obscuripennis, considering the bluish hue of the thorax and the clear wings (infuscated in B. furcatus).

I know that Dick is most of the time keeping the specimens, so perhaps this time, Menno, you are also lucky! ;)
I have no material here any more to check, just the literature. I bet you are right with Seri obscuripennis! :D
