It does, probably does not report size limitation, try < 800 px, < 100 KB.
That works for me.

Check the filename for unusual characters, like spaces.

T be noted, sometimes, very rarely, file name looks like somefilename.jpg
but there are hidden characters that you don't see. So try to rename file alltogether.

Hello
I think this is not Pterostichus oblongopunctatus, I can´t fund the bumbs!

But P.adstrictus can be close?

Posted by libor on 11-04-2014 19:49

yes, not oblongopunctatus. But I do not know adstrictus, which is from the same subgenus. The other species have not reddish tibiae, this shape of body and length 10 mm. Probably any carabidologist from Scandinavia can solve your problem. Not me, I am sorry.

I do not know the difference between oblongopunctatus and adstrictus. But now I know it is one of these species, so I can ask true expert!

P. adstrictus has black tibiae, so our specimen is P. oblongopunctatus.
