Might it be Scaptomyza sp? Female and male? On a pile of decaying salad. Warsaw, Poland 12.08.2012.

The "racing stripe" and long wings point yes to Scaptomyza. I think I see 4 acrostical rows on the fly on the right so maybe subgenus Scaptomyza as well? Someone else will have to weigh in.
