A male Phaonia found in León province (NC Spain) on 02.V.2016. I am puzzled. My first impression when saw the fly was Phaonia serva. However, some bits don't fit. I think I see 4 dc, mouth protrudes too much (I think), calypters aren't orangy colour at all... perhaps just an aberrant?? I cannot get to anything convincing with the keys Help, please!!
