Hi all, I'm trying to ID the attached fly - maybe bibio sp - this is on the high bog tops in the south Pennines and it seems to be the most frequent fly on Ledum palustre ssp groenlandicum - Labrador Tea as it has been observed pollinating in two separate years on this rare bush. Grateful for any help, cheers, Ken. edit - I cant seem to post a pic even at reduced size - why is life so difficult...............apologies all, I give-up. Edited by diggleken on 02-07-2015 19:15 |

That is better on all aspects ! So change the title to 'Dolichopodidae", wait for help and don't make it too late ! Theo |
