Looks like Siphonini. Several species of Siphonini from Australia and the southwestern Pacific region have modified antennae. I do not know which genera they are placed in now. |

Yes, it is. It is either Peribaea or Ceromyia. The habitus is totally NOT Peribaea, but than again, everything is weird between the antipods. So, I would need a close-up of the thorax (esp. anterior part, if possible slightly from below) to be sure. Theo |
