 Hello NakaRB,

Oh, I so love these red and black Chalsosyrphus! C. femoratus has a spine at the apex of the hind tibia like so http://waarneming...369429.jpg The haltere knob is light brown and the arista is unicolourous orange making this Chalcosyphus valgus. Very nice photo's, especially the top one!

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
