Hi all, I found today (21.10.2014) a few specimens like this one, under a dry piece of wood (Cerasus avium), in a pasture. Any idea about the genus/species? |

My guess is Tachypeza nubila.
Best wishes, Niels-Jan Dek |

The fore femur is rather extensively darkened for nubila, perhaps too extensively. Yet, the details are not sufficient to say if it is another species.
