Female Pneumia or Pericoma, not identifiable to species even with specimen.

thanks Gunnar...but it seems that Pericoma or Pneumia are not (often) seen in Belgium...here and in the netherlands are apparently mainly Psychoda and Clogmia sighted (http://waarnemingen.be/familie/view/10259 ) and here (http://www.academia.edu/3234380/Bijdrage_aan_de_kennis_van_urbane_motmuggen_Diptera_Psychodidae_ )
but I am happy Smile thanks again

They are very common, probably even the most common free-living aquatic psychodids in Europe. There are more observations of Psychoda and Clogmia albipunctata because can be found in bathrooms and kitchens.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
