It's in alcohol (not good); it's lost most of its scales (not good). But it is Culicinae, and it does have a fairly broad pale base to the hind metatarsus. Looking at the list of species recorded on RĂ©union, I'd say this was either Aedes aegypti or Aedes albopictus. Tony ---------- Tony Irwin |
