I think I can recognize Phorocera obscura. They are every year in our garden. But I'm never sure about the smaller darker ones. I know they are variable in length. Bergen, The Netherlands. Regard, Thijs Photo 16-4-2014. This one must be right. thijsdegraaf attached the following image: [85.93Kb] Edited by thijsdegraaf on 19-04-2014 20:09 http://www.tuin-t...engels.htm |

Looks like 2 different species - Phorocera obscura first and then maybe Eumea linearicornis second & third?

I only recognised the Eumea because I had seen one on a leaf earlier this Spring and they have a distinctly exoristine look to them with the golden face

I hope I recognize it now too. I didn't see new species today, but I've taken some other photos of an Eumea. Regards, Thijs thijsdegraaf attached the following image: [94.43Kb] Edited by thijsdegraaf on 19-04-2014 20:05 http://www.tuin-t...engels.htm |
