Is this a male of Anomoia purmunda? I found a lot of them yesterday at Mayen (Rhineland-Palatinate, western Germany) sucking on Rhinanthus minor. Regards, Ingo

Thanks! Reading http://www.bioinf...rmunda.htm I was a little bit confused to find so many flies on on fruiting bodies of Rhinanthus minor (Orobanchaceae) in the gras of a meadow... Regards, Ingo
