Taken feeding on Daucus carota in the outskirts of San Sebastian on July the 29th. At first thought that it might be Phasia barbifrons but I think now that it should be Phasia pusilla or one of the related species, which makes things much more difficult  Any suggestion or opinion will be most welcome  And there are more pictures if necessary

Halteres seem to be yellow (which makes me think of barbifrons).

I would say that it is a Phasia obesa (female), from the dusted thorax, yellow halteres, pale hairs on the gena and the small size
