i search the nam e of these fly.
I take the photo on 30.10.2009 in Ennepetal / NRW / Germany.
It is about 6 mm long.

Maybe 99.8% Grin
If you can make an enlargement of the eyes, than we maybe can see if the eyes are haired....
I have a feeling it could be Lasiomma sp.

the enlarged pictures of the eyes are not very good.
I cannot see haired eyes.

Indeed....to blur, to be sure.
Sometimes in a particular angle it is visible!
Or with a very sharp photo..
Also the female has less hairs, than the male

Maybe next time!
