 Aleucosia sp. from Western Australia (Lupton Nature Reserve)

This fantastic bombyliid is an Aleucosia sp. according to the Jefferies. Cor (who showed us recently amazing photos of flies from Turkey!) has also photographed one another Aleucosia - http://www.corzon...%20med.jpg though it is another different species. Here the photos that Jean took on 27 September 2007 in Lupton Nature Reserve - Western Australia
