Are these Symmerus sp , family Ditomyiidae ? If so, they would be a new family for the gallery Cool

Bois de Lauzelle, Louvain la neuve, Belgium. 7-8 mm.

I'd say Keroplatidae. Possibly Orfelia, but I am not immediately aware of any keroplatid species with such striking colour variation or sexual dimorphism.

Wing venation indeed looks more like Ditomyiidae. I will check my books at home.
