When I found this fly, it was dead (Spa, Belgium, March). Size 10 mm.
Could it be Protocalliphora azurea ?

IT is difficult to see, but I see 1 + 3 IA bristles and clear prae-ACR, together with a darkened calyptra, if all this is correct, then indeed it is Protocalliphora azurea male.

Yes it is correct but it is difficult to make good fotos for the bristles. Perhaps you'll beter see the 1+3 IA bristles on the following ones.
